内容介绍 :	A rich old man Chan Pak-kwan hears that his son Tai-wai has become acquainted with Mary, a dubious socialite. He plots with his doctor and pretends that he is expected to die at any moment in order to make Tai-wai return home to make Pak-kwan happy. Tai-wai drivels about his marriage and his daughter. As Pak-kwan hopes to meet them, Tai-wai asks Kwan-yi and Bo Bo, a pair of sisters, to meet Pak-kwan. The old man is extremely happy to find that Kwan-yi is good looking and well mannered, while Bo Bo is bright and intelligent. After his 'recovery', Pak-kwan finds out that Mary is a swindler. He thus personally goes to meet Kwan-yi and asks her to help save Tai-wai. Kwan-yi and Bo Bo thus move into the Chan family and continue to play their phony roles as if they were real. Tai-wai becomes attracted by Kwan-yi. But he suffers from Mary's constant pestering and does not dare to disclose his feelings to Kwan-yi. To expose Mary's trick, Pak-kwan disguises himself as a rich old man from San Francisco. This is just what Mary wants. She does not expect that on the day when she and Pak-kwan are supposed to have their wedding registered, her trick is exposed. She comes to understand that what she did in the past is wrong and decides to make a fresh start. Tai-wai and Kwan-yi finally become lovers.
