内容介绍 :	After Mrs Chiu's death, Chong goes to the hospital to break the news to Chiu and tells him Mrs Chiu's wish - that she wanted Chong to marry him. They agree to get married, but because Chiu is sterile as a result of his injury, the two of them remain just a platonic couple. Chiu receives a letter from his daughter Lai-bing, informing him that she has married a doctor and will be returning to Hong Kong soon. The day the newlyweds arrive, Chong suddenly discovers the shocking fact that Lai's husband is her former fiance, Ching. She evades him before she is discovered. Ching and his wife move back to Chiu's home. Chong and Ching meet but pretend that they did not know each other. They take the opportunity to let each other know their feelings after their separation. Ching is unable to forget about Chong and pesters her in every way. The two of them have a chat late in the night, and are overheard by Chiu. Chiu feels that requiring Chong to become a de facto widow is a selfish act and intends to kill himself by cutting his throat. Fortunately, Chong tries hard to dissuade him and tells him the secret of her relationship with Ching. The misunderstanding between the couple then dissipates. Meanwhile, Lai-ping dies as a result of a miscarriage, and this breaks Ching's heart. He thus decides to leave the Chiu family. Also, Chiu wants to travel to a distant place with Yeuk-sze and will not return, because he intends to bring about a reunion between Chong and Ching. The two of them can finally resume and continue their previous love.
