内容介绍 :	Tang Bohu is a talented literati and unabashed man-of-the-world. Not content even with eight beauties in his house, he goes out with his friends. Passing by Yun Yan Temple, Bohu catches sight of the beautiful Qiuxiang, one of four maids accompanying Lady Hua on her trip to offer incense in the temple. Bohu is immediately captivated by Qiuxiang's beauty and enters the temple to strike up an acquaintanceship. Jeered by the other maids , Bohu nonetheless remains unrelentless. Qiuxiang goes away amused. As the retinue returns home by boat, Bohu follows on a skiff. That night, he waits by the boat for Qiuxiang to appear and when she comes out to cast away soiled water, it spills onto Bohu who is soaked from inside out. Qiuxiang gives Bohu a second smile.Bohu becomes even more determined to capture Qiuxiang's love after he sees her smiling the third time at the foot of the gate to the Hua mansion as he tries to follow her in . He comes up with a plan to enter the mansion disguised as a study companion and assumes the pseudonym Hua An. Master Hua's two doltish sons Hua Wen and Hua Wu both have a crush on Qiuxiang but she makes a butt of the two boys. The Master is impressed by Bohu's talents in literature and the arts. Thus, Bohu, through the arrangements by Second Madam, has Qiuxiang wait on him when Lady Hua commissions a painting of The Goddess of Mercy. Bohu draws a Gold Boy and the Jade Girl attending upon the immortal as an expression of his love for Qiuxiang, finally winning over her love. (Based on a newspaper article.)
