内容介绍 :	Leung Pak-ling, an overseas Chinese, plans to retire in the old country and invest his money in a business venture. He makes an appointment with nephew Lee Chung-chiu to meet him in Hong Kong to discuss business. Pak-ling then goes to Guangzhou to look at apartments and telephones his son Leung Chung and daughter Yin-mei, both having finished their studies in Shanghai, to meet him. Pak-ling stays in his brother-in-law Chan Man-biu's home but, Man-biu, together with local cads Lam Wai and Ko Chi-cheung, imprison Pak-ling with a view to ransom a huge fortune. When Chung and Yin-mei arrive in Guangzhou, they are astonished to hear that their father is missing. At this time, Chung-chiu arrives and meets Chung and Yin-mei by chance. Chung-chiu finds out that Man-biu and friends are dealers in stolen goods. He disguises as a driver and seeks out Chi-cheung on the pretext of selling him spare parts. Man-biu, fearful that Chi-cheung may divulge secrets, sends Lam Wai to kill him. Before he dies, Chi-cheung tells Chung-chiu where Pak-ling is hidden. Thus, the old man is rescued but not before a battle with the villains. Man-biu falls down a cliff and gets killed. Pak-ling is finally reunited with his children. (Extracted from the film brochure.)
