内容介绍 :	Banker's son Yan Xiaofeng is in love with singer Diana. He secretly gives her an engagement ring, but his father, Yan Junfeng, also desires Diana and wants to break up the couple. Junfeng, nicknamed "The Stern Tiger," employs thugs to cause trouble in the nightclub where Diana performs, causing her to be sacked. She breaks off with Xiaofeng and pretends to acknowledge Junfeng as her master. During a banquet held in his home, Diana makes him drink a lot and then ridicules him. She shaves off his eyebrows and beard and subjects him to scorn and verbal abuse. After the Sino-Japanese war, Junfeng now ranks high as a governement official. One day he is unexpectedly arrested and brought to court. At this juncture, Diana reappears, and makes it clear that she has schemed all these to avenge her father, Zhu Kejin. Kejin used to work under Junfeng years ago and had misappropriated funds to pay for his wife's medical expenses. Junfeng showed no mercy to him and reported the case to the police. Zhu and his wife committed suicide rather than be arrested, leaving their little daughter, Diana, behind. Thus, Diana harbours vengeance. At the banquet the other day, Diana manages to get hold of proofs that Junfeng is collaborating with the Japanese. She photographs the authorisation certificate and uses it to bring Junfeng to justice. (Extracted from the film brochure.)
