内容介绍 :	Huang Zhijian and Zhang Jieru are planning their wedding particulars. Since the girl's family wants them to do it extravagantly for face. Zhijian has to spend six months of his salary throwing a grand party. But the wedding day does not go smoothly. First, the bride goes missing, having been harassed by an admirer. The couple finally goes through all the ceremonial rituals but a party of relatives and friends follow them back to their bridal chamber. After getting rid of their guests, they are disturbed by a row next door. It happens that neighbour Mrs Yu has just found out that her husband is having an affair with another woman. Their argument leads to the wife taking some poison to end her life. Zhijian, a nurse, is asked to accompany Mrs Yu to the hospital. Zhijian only manages to return home at dawn. The landord's daughter Ji Yanan has chosen this moment to elope with her boyfriend Shi Chuangang. She asks Zhijian to pass a note to her father, but the father demands Zhijian to help him find his daughter. The search ends at a police station. Returning home, Zhijian finds another party of guests. Meanwhile, the crazy admirer comes to look for Jieru. An outraged Zhijian beats the intruder. After a round -the-clock hassle, the couple wishfully thinks that they can now sit back and enjoy some quiet and peaceful moment of their own. But the treasurer of the wedding service knocks at the door to demanding payment for the ceremony. Zhijian collapses from exhaustion. A fed up Jieru throws a bucket of water at the treasurer and slams the door in his face. (Based on viewing of the film.)
