内容介绍 :	Cheung Chin-wan and servant girl Ah Fun are in love with each other, but Chin-wan's mother pinpoints on the difference in their social background and is against the relationship. The lovers conduct their affair in secret, and Ah Fun gets pregnant. Ah Fuk, Chin-wan's best friend, is forced to marry in the hope of hastening recovery of his ill father. Ah Fuk's mother is eager to select a bride for her son. Chin-wan's mother thus nominates Ah Fun to Ah Fuk's mother, and a marriage is quickly arranged. At the nuptial chamber that night, Ah Fuk discovers that the bride is his best friend's lover, and immediately contacts Chin-wan to ask his advice about how best to proceed. Chin-wan suggests that they go through with the marriage in name only. The trio moves to the city, putting up residence in Third Aunt's apartment. The trio maintains the facade, successfully keeping Third Aunt in the dark about their real relationship. Ah Fuk's girlfriend, Ah Ngan, turns up and reprimands Ah Fuk. Chin-wan is about to explain when his parents turn up; they mistake Ah Ngan for his girlfriend and encourage them to marry. Making the best of the situation, Chin-wan agrees to marry Ah Ngan, and hopes to clear up the matter after the wedding. Partly because she is attracted to Chin-wan, and partly to vent her frustrations, Ah Ngan agrees with the marriage. After the wedding of Ah Ngan and Chin-wan, the two couples intend to exchange partners. Then, Ah Fuk's parents arrive and demand the return of Ah Fuk and Ah Fun for now the latter is about to give birth. Chin-wan misses Ah Fun and wants to see her, but is prevented from leaving by Ah Ngan, to whom the truth is revealed at last. But the truth is finally revealed to the respective parents by Third Aunt, having discovered the real situation when cleaning up the rooms of the two couples. Chin-wan has to confess.
