内容介绍 :	Return from the Battleground is Hong Kong cinema's first War time Drama. It is set in the time of the 'December 8' Incidlent that saw Chinese forces at war with Japanese forces (the incident broke out in Shanghai on December 8, 1932). A patriotic young man Cheung Chi-keung joins the army to fight the Japanese, leaving aside his fiancee Pak Sin-kwun. Far from feeling abandoned, Sin-kwun resolves to do her bit for the war effort. She later meets an unscrupulous millionaire who attempts to rape her one night. In the ensuing struggle, the millionaire kills Sin-kwun. Chi-keung comes back from the front. Learning that Sin-kwun is dead, he musters up his spirits and goes back to the battleground to serve his country once again.
