内容介绍 :	Heiress Mui Suet-suet is courted by doctor Pak Ying, and playboy Paul Lee. Against the advice of her friends and family, she marries Lee and gives birth to a daughter, Siu-suet. The profligate Lee squanders Mui's fortune within two years. He leaves Mui to live with a dance hall girl. Mui is left to fend for herself and becomes a laundry woman. Her tragic condition is exacerbated by her sudden blindness. Several years later, Siu-suet is injured in a car accident and is seen to by Pak. Pak is reunited with Mui and cures Mui of her blindness. Lee, on the other hand, degenerates into a criminal but because of an egging conscience, he finally gives himself up to the law. Years later, Lee meets Mui again. Overcome by shame, Lee decides to give his life in the service of his country.
