内容介绍 :	Yuk-sim and Yuk-kuen are two sisters in the Chan family. Yuk-kuen is in love with classmate Chow Ho-leung, while Yuk-sim falls in love at first sight with Lee Kat-sui, who is visiting his sick mother in Guangdong. The widow next door Mrs Luk learns of Yuk-sim's unrequited love, which becomes a joke between her and her lover Lau Long. However, Lau Long pretends to be Kat -sui to steal in the Chan family's home at night, attempting to make love to Yuk-sim. However, Yuk-sim rebuffs Lau Long, who goes away taking a jade butterfly as a memento. The jade butterfly comes in the hands of Luk Hap, uncle to Mrs Luk, who, harbouring unchaste intentions towards Yuk-sim, finds himself entering the Chan household and mistakenly, into the room of Yuk-sim's father. A struggle ensues and Yuk-sim's father is killed. The sisters see the jade butterfly and proceed to Kat-sui's home in search of vengeance, but Kat-sui has returned to Hong Kong. The two sisters follow. Meanwhile, Luk Hap has escaped to Hong Kong where he meets the two sisters by chance. To earn a living, Yuk-sim becomes a singing girl in a nightclub. One day, a drunken Luk Hap turns up and harrasses Yuk-sim, saying that he will scar Yuk-sim's face. A company manager, Lee Man-fu, comes to Yuk -sim's aid. Yuk-sim learns that Man-fu is a colleague of Yuk-kuen's lover Ho-leung. To repay Man-fu's kindness, Yuk-sim decides to marry him. On the wedding night, Yuk-sim discovers that Man -fu is none other than Lee Kat-sui. Feeling shame, Yuk-sim decides to take her own life but Man-fu saves her in time. After investigations by Ho-leung, Luk Hap is finally arrested as the real killer of the Chan sisters' father. Yuk-sim and Man-fu live a happy married life. (Extracted from the film brochure.)
