内容介绍 :	Businessman Tang Pui's beloved wife has died in an accident in America. Each year during the Ching Ming festival, Tang and his two daughters re-visit the place where the accident happened. Eldest daughter Chui-lan is entrusted with the business but she suffers from an unknown disease. Tang's nephew, Liu Kei-wai, a graduate from Britain, is asked to help out. Both Chui-lan and sister Lai-yee are attracted to Kei-wai but Kei-wai loves Chui-lan, arousing Lai-yee's jealousy. Lai- yee plans to kill Chui-lan. On the occasion of her Master's degree graduation ceremony, Lai-yee puts poison in her sister's drink. Conscience strikes at the moment and Lai-yee knocks the glass off Chui-lan's hand and runs away in tears . Chui-lan chases after Lai-yee who tells her everything. Thinking that she has an uncurable disease, Chui-lan contemplates suicide so that her sister can marry Kei-wai. Chui-lan goes to the spot where her mother died. She plunges into the ocean but is saved by nuns in a nearby convent. Chui-lan is believed to be dead when the family rushes to the spot only to retrieve her silk scarf. Soon Lai-yee marries Kei-wai, who slowly becomes attracted to the wife. One day, an aunt meets Chui-lan in the church by accident and informs her family. The family rushes to the church and there meets Chui-lan. Kei-wai and Lai-yee apologise to Chui-lan. However, Chui-lan consoles them by saying that she has found peace at last in the convent and would rather stay behind than return home. A teary farewell is said by all.
