内容介绍 :	Ming-chu is a spoilt girl who has twice rejected marriage proposals, while her elder sisters Ming-wai and Ming-sum are both married. Ming-chu's father is worried for her. He invites Doctor Tsui, a scholar who has just returned from ten years of overseas study, to the house to meet Ming-chu, hoping that they will make a match. Against all expectations, Ming-chu is attracted to Doctor Tsui, who is conversant with psychology. Their second meeting starts off with a quarrel but ends with both of them singing a love duet. Doctor Tsui proposes a marriage and makes a bet with Chow Yan-sang (Ming-wai's husband) and Fung Chi -tsoi (Ming-sum's husband) that he and Ming-chu will live harmoniously together. On their wedding night, Ming-chu refuses to get in bed with Tsui, but he uses psychology to tackle Ming-chu. Gradually, Ming-chu realises that there must be give and take between husband and wife. Doctor Tsui wins his bet, while Chow Yan-sang and Fung Chi-tsoi learns how to live harmoniously with their wives. (Based on viewing the film)
