内容介绍 :	Jewel merchant Mr Pak is killed by bandits during the Japanese occupation. His only daughter Pak Pik flees to safety and is taken in by Third Aunt. With an eye to her inheritance, Third Aunt flaunts the virtues of her son Fatty Hong, now serving in the army, hoping that Pak Pik will marry Fatty when he returns from the army. The neighbour, Mr Cheung, now pursues Pak Pik. Fearing that Mr Cheung may spoil her plans, Third Aunt hatches up another plan. She asks Charlie, a tenant who owes rent, to masquerade as her son and marry Pak Pik. When Fatty returns, Cheung retaliates by announcing to him that both his parents have died in the war. Meanwhile, an unknowing Charlie, takes in Fatty as a house guest. Next , Mr Cheung attempts to blackmail Third Aunt. That night, Fatty, acting under Charlie's orders, hide outside the house in ambush. Thinking that a thief is lurking outside, Third Aunt is reunited with her own son after a hustle and bustle. The next day, Third Aunt explains to Pak Pik and urges her to marry her son. Now aware of Third Aunt's plans, Pak Pik rejects her explanation and leaves the house. Third Aunt's plans are in tatters.
