内容介绍 :	The scholar Ho Soon-tin concentrates on his philosophy studies as Hong Kong is occupied by the Japanese. In his free time, Ho and his pal, Doctor Chan, go gambling and dance hall joints. Soon-tin is intimate with two dance hostess, Lai-lai and Sakurako. Not wanting to arouse jealous rivalry between the two women , Soon-tin moves to a new address but finds out that his neighbour is none other than Lai-lai. The two live secretly together. One night, as Soon-tin is waiting for Lai-lai to get off work, he sees Sakurako steal into Lai-lai's house. The next day, he receives news that Lai-lai has been injured by an assassin. Soon-tin is puzzled by events when Doctor Chan is also injured and is in critical condition. Doctor Chan tells Soon-tin that he and Sakurako are secret agents and asks Soon-tin for help. Soon-tin's first mission is to steal a secret document in Lai-lai's house. In the process, Soon-tin is injured in a fight. Sakurako makes her appearance and it is at this critical moment that Lai-lai also exposes her identity as a secret agent. However, the document is now in the hands of the traitor Wong Hon-yi. After much negotiation between them, Soon-tin is assigned the important task of retrieving the document. Soon-tin proves that he is up to the task but Lai-lai is killed by the Japanese. 备注 :	Theoriginal title of the film was "The spy martyrs (Diexue Xianghun)" but the title was changed to accord with a climatic fight scene between the spies set on a beach (the Chinese title being literally "Beach spies" ) (Wah Kiu Man Po, 1948/6/9)
