内容介绍 :	War buddies Chan Kwok-suen and Leung Ching live in Chan's uncle Chan Yik-chuen's home after the war. All three live harmoniously together. Kwok-suen is asked by an Overseas Chinese Uncle Cheung to look for his daughter, Yee-wan, in Guangzhou, and promises the old man that he would marry her. After her mother's death, Yee-wan finds herself in Hong Kong where she lives with her Sixth Aunt. Sixth Aunt forces Yee-wan to become an escort girl. One day, while extricating herself from the unwanted attention of Seventh Aunt's son , Mak Sing-kwan, Yee-wan runs into Leung Ching, then plying a trade as a street hawker. sympathising her, Leung brings Yee-wan to his home. Yee-wan is attracted to Kwok-suen who is unaware that she is Uncle Cheung's daughter. Kwok-suen is willing for Leung Ching to approach Yee-wan. Sing-kwan discovers Yee-wan's whereabouts and goes to Yeek-chuen's home to take Yee-wan back to the nightclub. When Kwok-suen returns, he discovers that Yee-wan has been kidnapped. With the help of the wonder dog Winny, he traces her to the nightclub where Kwok-suen attempts to rescue Yee-wan against the odds. Winny runs back to the house to fetch Leung Ching, who informs the police and leads them to the scene. Sing-kwan is arrested. Now, Uncle Leung turns up in Hong Kong. Father and daughter are reunited and Yee-wan is told that Kwok-suen has promised to marry her. Leung Ching graciously gives way for his buddy to marry Yee-wan.
